Manubens Abogados participated in MAPIC, one of the largest European fairs in the international Real Estate market. Mapic was attended by almost three thousand five hundred companies and over nine thousand participants participated in this edition.
This year, the Manubens Real Estate team has been represented by Carlos Manubens, Founding Partner, together with senior partners and lawyers in this area: Eva Pich, Carlos Alonso, Eduardo García and Mandeep Johal.
In addition, we were fortunate to share our stand with fellow Spanish companies in the stand of Asociacion Espanola de Centros y Parques Comerciales (“AECC”) and participate in the Spanish events organised in our stand.
This year we have been able to verify, speaking with our clients and other companies, the importance of this sector and how it is becoming stronger and more important. The Spanish market, with Madrid and Barcelona at the top, is still considered to be a very interesting place to invest.
One of the most interesting moments was, the pleasure we had, to organise a private breakfast together with fellow US law firm Goulston & Storrs. This was a great opportunity where investors, developers and retailers were able to come together and exchange ideas and thoughts. We believe the direct contact that we had with them has been profitable, both for us and for them, since it has allowed us to explain the advantages of our market and to know first-hand their projects and introduce to them opportunities which we believe could be of interest to them.
