When using this Website, and/or when communicating electronically with MANUBENS ABOGADOS, personal data of each User may be collected and processed; said data processing is governed by this Privacy Policy.

Each section of this Privacy Policy contains the necessary detailed information regarding each of the different types of personal data processing carried out depending on the type of personal data form on the Website filled in and sent to us (“Newsletter Form”, “Contact Form” or ” Talent/Candidates Form”), or when communicating electronically with MANUBENS ABOGADOS through the following e-mail addresses: info.barcelona@manubens.com; info.madrid@manubens.com o info.malaga@manubens.com.

3.- Purpose of data processing.

A)Newsletter Form:

The Data Controller shall process your personal data (contact details) in order to manage your subscription to the Newsletter service, and to send you newsletters and articles with legal or juridical content, as well as commercial or advertising communications or promotional offers, by electronic means, from both the MANUBENS Group and PRAGMA (international network of law firms of which the Data Controller is a member).

The companies which make up the MANUBENS Group are MANUBENS Y ASOCIADOS, S.L.P., MANUBENS MADRID ABOGADOS, S.L.P. and MANUBENS MÁLAGA ABOGADOS, S.L.P.

You can object at any time to the processing of your personal data for these purposes as well as, in particular, to the receipt of newsletters and articles with legal or juridical content as well as of electronic commercial or advertising communications or promotional offers through the exercise of your right to object, by sending a regular mail to MANUBENS Y ASOCIADOS, S.L.P. to the following address: Avenida Diagonal, 682, 3ª planta, Barcelona (08034) – Spain; or by sending an email to: lopd@manubens.com.

B) Contact Form: 

The Data Controller shall process your personal data in order to deal with and resolve any requests for contact or information that you send us through our Contact Form.   

C) Talent/Candidates Form:                

The Data Controller shall process the personal data provided by you through your Curriculum Vitae and any data that may result from any contacts and/or interviews with you for the purpose of (i) maintaining a file with information regarding the training and professional experience of candidates for employment in the Company, in order to assess their profiles and suitability for selection processes, and to fill any vacancies that may be available in the Company, as well as (ii) managing the relationship established with you as a Candidate.

The Data Controller shall process the personal data provided by you by e-mail, in order to deal with and resolve any requests for contact or information that you submit through the e-mail you send.

4.- Legitimisation of data processing

A)    Newsletter Form:

The legal basis that enables MANUBENS Y ASOCIADOS, S.L.P. to process your personal data (contact details) is the express consent that you provide, where appropriate, by accepting our Personal Data Protection Policy, which appears below the Newsletter Form; and the legitimate interest of the Data Controller and your own in managing your subscription request to the Newsletter service, and in sending you newsletters and articles with legal or juridical content, as well as commercial or advertising communications or promotional offers, by electronic means, from both the MANUBENS Group and PRAGMA.

B)    Contact Form:

The legal basis that enables the Data Controller to process your personal data is the express consent that you provide, where appropriate, by accepting our Personal Data Protection Policy, which appears below the “Contact” Form; and the legitimate interest of the Data Controller and your own in having the requests for contact or information that you send us through our Contact Form dealt with and resolved.

Moreover, should you accept said Personal Data Protection Policy, you expressly undertake to ensure that any personal data you provide to us through the Contact Form is accurate, adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purpose of the Contact Form.

C)   Talent/Candidates Form:

The legal basis that enables MANUBENS Y ASOCIADOS, S.L.P. to process your personal data is the express consent that you provide, where appropriate, by accepting our Personal Data Protection Policy which appears below the Newsletter Talent/Candidates Form.

Moreover, should you accept our Personal Data Protection Policy, you expressly undertake to ensure that any personal data you provide to us (either through your Curriculum Vitae, or through any contacts and/or interviews with you) is accurate, adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary for the purpose of a Candidates’ File.

D)    Communications via e-mail addresses “info@manubens.com” :

The legal basis that enables the Data Controller to process your personal data is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller and your own in having the requests for contact or information that you send us by e-mail dealt with and resolved.

Moreover, by sending us your e-mail, you expressly undertake to ensure that any personal data you provide to us through said e-mail is accurate, adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary for the purpose of using an e-mail address for requesting contact or information.

5.- Duration of data processing.

A)    Newsletter Form:

Your personal data provided through the Newsletter Form on our website will be processed as long as you do not exercise your right to object to the processing for such purposes (pursuant to the procedure set out in section 7 of this Policy).

B)    Contact Form:

The personal data that you provide us with through our Contact Form will be processed until your request is resolved.

C)   Talent/Candidates Form:

Should you accept our Personal Data Protection Policy, which appears below the “Talent/Candidates Form”, you expressly consent that your personal data may be kept and processed for a reasonable period of time (which we establish at 2 years from the receipt of your Curriculum Vitae), with a view to future selection processes that the Company may hold, or for the purpose of filling any vacancies that may arise in the future, for which the required profile may fit yours.

D)    Communications via e-mail addresses “info@manubens.com” :

The personal data that you provide us with through your e-mail will be processed until your request is resolved.

6.- Recipients (Disclosure of data or Data processing by way of a Processor)

Common to all Forms and Communications.

The Data Controller shall not disclose your personal data to third parties unless you have given your prior consent for such purposes, or when so required by a legal obligation.

Likewise, those companies to which the Data Controller outsources the following services, may have access to your data:

  • Cloud computing
  • Auditing
  • Translation
  • Mailing
  • Technical or computer support

Finally, in relation to the specific cases of the “Contact Form” and “Communications via “info@manubens.com” e-mail addresses”, we inform you that other MANUBENS Group companies may also have access to your personal data whenever this may be necessary to deal with your request.

7.- Data Subjects’ Rights 

Common to all Forms and Communications. 

The Data Controller undertakes to respect and facilitate the exercise, by the Data Subject, of the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing under the terms and within the limits established in articles 15 to 22 of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Please find below a brief explanation of the scope and content of the rights that you can exercise:

  • Right of access: You have the right to obtain from us confirmation as to whether or not we have personal data concerning you, and, where that is the case, you can ask us for information on it. We are obliged to answer, among other questions, the ones related to the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data concerned and the recipients to whom your personal data have been disclosed.   • Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’): If any of the circumstances provided by article 17 GDPR occurs, we will have to erase your personal data when so requested by you. However, this right is subject to the restrictions set forth in said Article 17 GDPR.
  • Right to restriction of processing: If any of the circumstances provided by article 18 GDPR occurs, we will have to restrict the use we make of your personal data when so requested by you, under the specific terms set forth in said Article 18 GDPR.
